Maritt Araba Biney Jensen was the company’s regional manager for Africa.

According to Maritt, it has been a fantastic and memorable experience in Ghana. While breaking into a new market will never be a simple process, Linkfire remains very proud to have been part of the fun and learning year during its time in the West African country.

The manager said that Ghana’s music industry is growing fast, and she feels very honoured to have met the individuals who drove the positive changes in recent years. Maritt Araba added that her best decision yet is employing talents that know a lot about Ghana’s music market.

Her words, “It’s been a challenging, fun, learning, and exciting year bringing Linkfire to the continent.”

“The music industry here is evolving fast, and I’m amazed by the individuals I’ve met driving these changes. Thank you to my team for being part of the Linkfire Africa experience. Entering a new market was not a small challenge, and my best decision was hiring talent that knew a lot about the market.”

Linkfire made a name for itself as a “software as a service (SaaS)” platform for music and creative industries. And the company strived to boost African traffic from 3.5 million to 35 million hits monthly by 2023. No reason has been given for the company exiting the Ghanaian market.
