Popular technology company Huawei has announced a competition that will see developers all across the globe flaunt their tech skills with the launch of the Huawei Global App Innovation Contest (Apps UP) 2022.
Registrations are now open worldwide, and 2022’s theme is #TogetherWeInnovate.
Apps UP have also provided more than $1M to encourage submissions that guarantee worldwide users a smooth, digital and innovative experience.
In the 2022 edition of the Huawei competition, unique awards are available for competition regions, including the Best Arabic App in the Middle East & Africa region. With more than 300 million Arab speakers worldwide, there is an excellent opportunity for developers to create application solutions personalized to the region’s demographic.
Lu Geng, Vice President of the Middle East and Africa, Huawei Global Partnerships & Eco-Development, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said, “We are thrilled to launch the third edition of the competition. With the continuously changing consumer demands, Huawei invites app developers to bring their best ideas to life to create seamless digital experiences on AppGallery.”
Registrations and submissions commenced since the 24th of June and will run until the 9th of October, 2022. After registration closes, the top 30 selections will start up until the 7th of November. The 11th month of the year will be the public review stage before the finals, and the award ceremony will go down in December.
