5 Sci-Fi movies you need to watch this weekend

Sci-Fi movies, as we know, give viewers an awe-feeling with advanced technology as well as fictional science-based depictions of phenomena that are not fully accepted by mainstream science.

2022 has been no different with a movie collection from the science fiction genre, and we would love to recommend five (5) new ones for you to watch as we jump into the weekend, starting with a Friday Movie Night.

1. Moonfall (2022)

3. Firestarter (2022)

A Sc-Fi movie starring top actor Zac Efron and directed by Keith Thomas, a couple desperately tries to hide their daughter, Charlie, from a shadowy federal agency that wants to harness her unprecedented gift for turning fire into a weapon of mass destruction.

After being experimented on by a secret government entity called The Shop, Andy McGee develops psychic powers and meets the love of his life.

4. Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)

When an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the world’s fate hangs in the balance.

Tupaki’s power to see and feel everything everywhere all at once leads her to believe that nothing matters in any and every single universe.

5. Crimes of the Future (2022)

Crimes of the Future is a 2022 science-fiction, drama and horror film written and directed by David Cronenberg and starring Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortensen and Léa Seydoux.

The body undergoes new transformations and mutations as the human species adapts to a synthetic environment. Accompanied by his partner, celebrity performance artist Saul Tenser showcases the metamorphosis of his organs. Meanwhile, a mysterious group tries to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.
