Itel Ghana this week embarked on a corporate social responsibility project themed “ itelWandering Library Project”.
itel hopes that everyone enjoys a better life. To this end, itel uses the LoveAlwaysOn (LAO) charity project to convey care and goodwill for consumers and the community.
This is why we are embarking on the Wandering library project. It is a mobile library and a different form of a library that has two feet and will be at places where it is needed. The main purpose is to promote education and sow the seed of knowledge to a wider and farther place through learning.
The project was piloted at the LA South Cluster of Schools in Labadi. The project will cater and aid in supporting more than six hundred pupils in the school. Among the items donated includes Textbooks of various subjects, Storybooks, school bags, pens, water bottles among other items.
In an interview with the Digital Marketing and Communication Manager Mr. Tuekpe Michael, itel will continue to support and create impact in communities it does business in. Especially in the lives of children who are our future leaders. He encourages the pupils to use the items judiciously and aim to become better good future leaders.
