Ghana Scholarship Secretariat is set to open its portal for local tertiary applications for the 2021/2022 academic year. The portal would be opened on June 16, 2021, and closed on July 31, 2021.
The offer is applicable only to continuing students. Follow the instructions listed below to register:
For new applicants only
- Open the web address – www.scholarshipgh.com
- Create an account to register
- Complete the application form and upload school documents
- Complete an online aptitude test and be scheduled for a selection interview in your district.
Previous beneficiaries should log in and update their records to RENEW your scholarship.
Frequently Asked Questions on the Scholarship Secretariat
Does the scholarship apply to all categories of students??
No. It does not apply to sandwich, part-time, private/fee paying students in public tertiary institutions.
Can I apply for a Disability allowance?
Yes, you can. Completed application forms must be accompanied with a medical certificate stating the percentage of disability, to the secretariat for processing.
What are the modes of application
Application forms are downloaded from the Secretariat’s website (www.scholarships.gov.gh) after a registration code is sent to the various institutions at the beginning of the academic year. Duly completed application forms must be endorsed by the designated institutional authority and submitted through the Dean of Graduate School to the Scholarships Secretariat.
